Talent Management

Nearly every business, small and large, needs a talent management function. Once a company has more than a handful of employees, managing and inspiring talent is a critical short-term and long-term issue. What do I mean by talent management?

Coaching –executive coaching for your CEO and management team; dealing with vital issues to the health and success of your business -- matching strategy with execution, better communication, better teamwork. Is everyone on your team high functioning, clear, jazzed?

Teambuilding – Many teams could benefit from increased levels of trust, more healthy conflict, more accountability, greater commitment, and better results.

Retention issues – Losing key employees is expensive and damaging to your business. How happy, motivated, engaged are your key employees? This is one of the key functions and important benefits of having an outsource talent management team.

Conflict resolution – Conflicts that are not dealt with fester and lead to loss of trust, less teamwork, and losing key employees. A focus on talent management can identify and resolve conflicts.

Strategy execution – is your team “firing on all cylinders” or are your departments our to sync, unclear, not highly motivated? Our job is to get everyone clear, motivated, and excited – by establishing trust and teamwork.

Small business, (and large businesses) often ignore this function, or make it a low priority. Of course your organization needs to focus on sales and marketing, product development, and financial matters - but who is focusing on these issues? And how? Your people; your talent!
